SAMPLE RP(Write a short RP as your character to show us where you stand):
Scene 1: A Geek’s Scorn
To Providence we go, where we find a very pissed off geek. She had heard what Jeremy had said and it honestly made her mad. As she paces like a caged animal waiting for it’s prey, she speaks. Her outfit is her usual green plaid skirt, with black heart shaped top with the sides cut. She had black arm gloves on along with her normal glasses and braces. Her red hair was back in a ponytail, for the time being.
Veda Scott: For months, I’ve heard Jeremy run his mouth about my family and about me. I heard him say I don’t belong in this business and that I’m riding Brian’s coat tails. Well actually, that sounds like you. For over two years, you’ve been feuding with him, trying to one up him. But now, you’ve run into me. And the last time I saw you, I knocked your ass out, and I’m easily going to do it again.
With how angry she was, her eyes would slowly start turning from their normal green color, to a reddish color, about the color of her hair or maybe Satan. But this was normal for the Irish geek, as anytime someone set her off, she would easily get mad and snap on the person that was picking on her, in this case, her opponent. As the thunder picked up outside, signaling a storm, there was about to be a verbal storm, if Veda had her way. The verbal thunder and lightning had already struck, and now it was time for the storm to come, and it would, within time.
Veda Scott: If there is anything we know it’s that you’re all hype. You’re not all that talented. All you are is talk and you’ve proven that to me from the first time I laid eyes on you way back when. See, you and Brian tilted before everywhere. And he’s beaten you everywhere you can think of. And on that last name, it is now my turn to once again knock your ass out, just like I did years ago, in Cleveland. You know, there is one baseball team you remind me of.
She would then give a cocky grin as she was growing more confident in her abilities to finish this thing off, as she felt this guy was not worth her time to even talk about, and the only reason she was, was because she was being paid to, and because there was a spot in the finals of the Emperor tournament on the line, which was her ticket to getting noticed within the company as she knew that winning this tournament would get her noticed, not only in HCW but possibly anywhere else she had signed.
Veda Scott: That team is the 2007 Baltimore Orioles. They were nothing but hype and easily lost to my Texas Rangers, 30-3, just like you will lose to me and it will be an easy 30-3 style beating, Jeremy. But unlike that game, you won’t have nine innings to come back. All you’re going to have is what little talent you came in with. And I laugh at the fact that you tried to intimidate me with your crappy raps. All you did was piss me off. And as the old saying goes, you should never make a red head mad. And the simple reason is that, what you don’t know is that I am Irish. That Irish temper will take over and by the end of it, I will make sure you are not only in a pool of blood, but that you never wrestle much less run your mouth about me or Brian ever again. This is not just revenge for me. But this is also partial revenge for my husband, after everything you’ve said and put us through. This is my time at revenge and no snoop dogg wanna be punk is going to stop me from taking what’s mine.
As her promo raged on, her attitude would get even more arrogant, as she knew she had this in tow. She knew that it was all over for Jeremy, before it even started and she knew that she would win this matchup and that Jeremy was way below her. She knew this would be easy, but how easy was something she would find out later. As the outside storm began to intensify, so did Veda’s rage. She had been sick of her treatment and wanted to make management aware that she was sick of her treatment. She had lately been treated as badly as WWE’s Dolph Ziggler, with constant ignoring and managing instead of wrestling, She wanted to be in the ring, and in front of the fans, and not backstage constantly.
Veda Scott: I’ve been ignored long enough. I’ve been shoved aside for people like you that aren’t worthy of being in this ring long enough. In just a few short weeks, Veda Scott makes another in ring appearance and will make sure that Jeremy’s head is driven in to the mat then taken off and used as a damn bowling ball! I’ve had enough of the diarreha that he’s been spewing and that he’s going to spew. He’s full of himself and full of shit. And it’s time to plug up that shithole he calls a mouth, once and for all. It’s time he learned to respect people older than him. See, I was in this business before that shitfest you call a career was even a thought. I’ve been fighting my way up for years now and it’s my time to be known. For years I have flown under the radar, and now that time is over. This is my time and you are not stopping me from getting to where I need to be, and that is the top of this company.
Her confidence was growing by the second. She knew that she had this in the bag as she knew that Jeremy was not in her league and that he would never beat her. As the storm outside gets more intense, her promo also intensifies, as she figured she had enough to easily put this dude in his place. But as the promo continued, she smirked a bit.
Veda Scott: But one thing I will say is that Jeremy, your ego reminds me of Freddy, from the Five Nights at Freddy’s series. You can do all you want to prepare, but just like Freddy when the lights go out and the Troubadour march plays, you’re still gonna die. But in your case, you can prepare all you want, but it won’t help. I will be the one moving on to the finals to me Elinora Scarlett, who I will cover later on. But first, you’re in my way. And if you’re gonna in my way, God, in this case Veda Scott, is gonna cut you down.
And now, came the knockout punch. As she finally had her point made, it was time to drive it home. As the power goes out in her home, from the storm, she knew she had a flashlight that would light the way as the promo ended. She had been standing in darkness for a few moments now and it was time to turn the flashlight on. As she shines it on the wall behind the camera, to give her extra light, but she knew that it wouldn’t matter much at all, as she knew that this match was hers to win, for sure. Some would call it arrogance, but she knew it as confidence, as she by nature, was a confident person and knew how to control it, unlike her opponent.
Veda Scott: What I am saying is that you can run your mouth all you want. But come Turmoil, I’m putting my foot down so far down your throat that the water off my knee will quench your thirst. And while I am at it, I will put my foot so far up your black ass that there will be ashes on my foot. I will put my foot so far up there that it will be able to touch the foot that’s down your throat. All you’re going to be in the end is a broken down never was that couldn’t hack it with the big boys. Sure you’re gonna brag about beating my friend, Becky Lynch. But I’m a much tougher challenge than she will ever be. While she is a great wrestler, I am that much greater. And that will be proven in a few short weeks. And when we get into that ring, it’ll be game over for Jeremy Baltimore.
And it was finally time to end this thing. As she addresses the stipulation, a sick smile came across her face. She was showing a side of herself no one knew existed and she was loving every second of it. She realized that she didn’t need chairs to make him bleed, as she had a secret weapon, inside her mouth, that she would reveal to him at a later date, specifically, in the match.
Veda Scott: And as for the first blood stipulation? It doesn’t bother me at all. It just gives me another chance to break you in half and leave you in your own blood. When all is said and done, all that will be left of you will be your blood. When all is said and done it will be reminiscant of a fatality in Mortal Kombat, and what you will hear after that, if you can hear, is “Veda Scott Wins. Fatality.” But enough talk about losers like you. I have better things to do.
As the scene fades off, Veda lets off a cocky laugh, knowing that she had this match won before it started. She knew that Jeremy would spew some shit that wasn’t at all true and in the process would find a way to cost himself the match as she would beat him to a bloody pulp anyway. But she had this done for now and it was time to go train for this upcoming contest, as she knew this was her time to shine and she was not about to lose it.
